I'm still reeling from the break up.

I just don't understand how this happened. Why did they break up with me? I mean at all, whatever you knew what I meant. I'm just going over the last few months and I don't know what to believe anymore! Just a couple months ago Nate from The Format said they were recording new songs! Were they "songs" or were they really songs? Don't answer that, I don't want to know. But wait, he even quoted lyrics!! Were those even real WORDS? Someone asked if they were going to tour and he said, "I wouldn't be surprised if it happened this summer." Oh yeah Nate from The Format? Well I would be surprised! I'd be REALLY surprised! Because you BROKE UP!! Wait, where are you going? I didn't mean it! Come back! You're right, it was snarky, I'm sorry! Well, that was just a low blow. I am NOT a snarkypants! It's just, you have to understand, it's not just me anymore. I have a kid to think about. She fell in love with you too. And now I have to tell her there's no more albums. Yes, I bought B-sides and rarities. What? It was fine. Huh? Well, c'mon YOU made it B-sides for a reason, right? Fine, Go! I don't care this time! I'm over it!!

I didn't mean it! Come back, The Format!

Next thing I know, The Beatles will break up.

I just found out my favorite band, The Format, broke up over a month ago. I am way too old to be this sad about a band breaking up. But I am very very sad!!!

Only in LA.

Our farmer's market is notable for Harper because she can go to a petting zoo and climb in and out of the tiny chairs for a half an hour while goats trip over her. It's notable for me because it's where I see all my celebrities for the week. While in the petting zoo my friend Hillary came up to me.

Hillary: I saw Dave Grohl.

Me: Where?

Hillary: In line for the moon bounce.

Sad news.

Apparently Patrick "I aint putting no baby in the corner" Swayze has pancreatic cancer! Although also apparently, he is responding well to treatment and has only a "limited amount of the disease." I'll stop summing it up and you can read about here in the reputable E! News.

I called Brett to tell him.

Me: This is just like Ghost!

Brett: This is nothing like Ghost.

Me: Yes it is! He's going to die and he may be very much in love with his wife and will have to come back and tell her that she needs to move on!

Brett: This not like Ghost. He isn't being killed by his business partner who is after his wife and he can't come back and avenge himself against pancreatic cancer.

Me: As far as you know.
